Hi! I'm Marisa Olin
Welcome to the Busy Bees Kids Arts and Crafts Club
My creative journey began in Atlanta GA, as an AmeriCorps member and then team leader,
where I led afterschool arts and crafts programs for children in underserved neighborhoods. There I discovered the power of art when you provide a joyful space for self-expression and growth. Teaching wasn’t just about the materials—it was about helping each child feel valued and celebrated, and watching their confidence blossom through creativity.
Art has continued to be a meaningful part of my life, especially with my daughter Bexley, who inspires me every day. Creating together strengthens our relationship, fills our home with imagination and joy—and motivates me to help other children and families share in creative experiences of their own.
My goal is to nurture every child’s unique artistic voice, celebrate their individuality, and give them the confidence to explore and express themselves. So I teach with passion, kindness, and a commitment to each child’s emotional well-being.
Our Busy Bees workshop curriculum is designed collaboratively by an architect, engineer, occupational therapist, and artist. And I have curated workshops to accommodate all skill levels, featuring projects and activities that encourage children to be curious, creative, and innovative—all while facilitating meaningful experiences and building lasting memories.
My art workshops are designed to help children develop their communication, emotional resilience, and problem-solving skills. What matters most to me is the process of inspiring—laughter, discovery, and the joy of self expression.

What do I bring to class?
We provide all the supplies and materials. All you need to do is bring a good attitude and an open mind.
What do I wear?
The classes tend to get messy and could result in paint or other damage to personal items or clothing. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to wear old clothes. We are not responsible for any damages.
What if a class is canceled?
In the rare case that a class may be canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible, and your class will be rescheduled.

Can I purchase a single kit without subscribing?
At the moment, we only offer subscription plans. This allows us to provide you with an exciting creative experience every month. If you feel uncertain, you can sign up and receive your first kit, and if you’re not happy you can simply cancel your subscription by sending us an email.

and every day is buzzing with a good time. Busy Bees create, innovate, and find community, through weekly in-person arts and crafts classes.

Busy Bees Arts & Crafts club is the place for your little one to BEE creative.
Each term is a unique adventure of —8 classes once a week over 2 months, buzzing with color, giggles, and community. Our hive is a safe, happy place for all bees to spread their wings. Bees learn problem-solving skills through STEAM-based arts & crafts projects and build confidence while making new friends and buzzing around creative challenges.
Here’s the honey
- Workshops: 8 classes per term (2 months)
- Registration Fee: $35 to save a spot in the hive
- Full term: $200 for all 8 classes (that is an average of just $25 a class!)
- Supplies: all are included
- Projects: include painting, sculpting, building, and STEAM-based fun!
